What should we automate first?+

Whatever is both frequent and boring. Frequency creates the return; boredom means nobody will defend it. The Friday certificate job was a perfect first candidate: weekly, rule-based, and nobody’s favourite part of the week.

Can you automate one thing rather than everything?+

That is usually the right way to start, and it is how most of these engagements begin. One process, mapped, built, documented and handed over, for a fixed price. If it works you will know whether the next one is worth doing. If it does not, you have risked one small project instead of a program.

What happens when the data is messy?+

It is designed for. A missing email address on the certificate build does not halt the run: the document is still generated and archived, and the gap is reported. Automations that assume clean data fail in week two.

Do we need to change the tools we use?+

Rarely. Most of this work connects what you already run. Replacing your stack is a much bigger project than making it talk to itself, and usually unnecessary.

What if it breaks after you hand it over?+

You get the source, documentation and a walkthrough. Failure paths log and notify rather than fail silently. Ongoing support is available but not required. Nothing is built to hold you hostage.

Is this AI?+

Some of it. Classification and drafting are genuinely better with a model in the loop. Moving a row from one system to another is not, and dressing it up as AI would just make it more expensive and less reliable.

What does someone at your company do every single week, by hand?

Name it on a call and I will tell you honestly whether it is worth automating.
